Welcome to UWODS 2011-2012!
Save the date folks! The annual UWO High School Tournament is fast approaching, and so is your MANDATORY judging requirement. This is an important event for the UWODS and in order to put on the best tournament possible we need the help of everyone in the club. If you have an unavoidable conflict (it better be good) please email VP Training Sydney Thurn as soon as possible!
We will be meeting in UC 202 at 5:30 every Monday and Wednesday starting this week! After 15 or 20 mins of training we will be dispersing into different rooms (UC 203 and 213) for debate rounds. Novice debaters will be paired with experienced debaters whenever possible! Not up for debating yet?? Sit on a judging panel or watch a debate. You can learn almost as much by watching as you can by participating. (**ALMOST**)

Clubs Week is Over, BUT Sign-Ups Are Not!
Not part of the club, but you want to be? We will never turn away someone who has a passion for debating, wants to improve their public speaking and arguementation skills, or just wants to hang out with an awesome bunch of people. So, come on out to the regular weekly meetings and let us know you want to join! Membership is $20 and will get you one tournament spot over the course of the year at exotic locations from Montreal, to Ottawa, to Yale and more.
